The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of teacher training in order to also improve student training to effectively integrate them into the job market.
Professional training is considered a key element of strategic value for achieving higher levels of competitiveness and social development. To achieve this objective, a technological HUB will be created in which to share knowledge, teachings, methodological material and complementary skills in order to reduce the gap between professional training and the needs of private companies in the gastronomic sector.
The project aims to prevent and combat the phenomenon of school dropout.
Global and Local has developed materials and proposes a pedagogical methodology to be tested in the project partner countries, to test an effective model and validate its validity.
Since the objective of the project is to combat early school leaving through a full involvement of teachers and a re-motivation of pupils, it is considered essential to sensitize schools in the partner countries towards the transition from a teaching strongly centered on the teacher to a teaching capable of recognize the protagonism of girls and boys and support their active participation.
