Project Presentation

Target

The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of teacher training in order to also improve student training to effectively integrate them into the job market.

Professional training is considered a key element of strategic value for achieving higher levels of competitiveness and social development. To achieve this objective, a technological HUB will be created in which to share knowledge, teachings, methodological material and complementary skills in order to reduce the gap between professional training and the needs of private companies in the gastronomic sector.

One objective is to reduce the gap between professional training and the needs of gastronomic companies. This produces demotivation and consequent school dropout.

To achieve this goal we must change our mentality, motivate students and provide them with development tools appropriate to current times. This is why we need to improve teaching and bring it closer to the company and the new reality.

Meaning of vocational training

The strategic role of Vocational Training rests on two fundamental pillars: its ability to reduce school dropout and school and university failure, on the one hand, and, on the other, its value as a driver of change in the structure of the employment market , increasing the share of professionals qualified for their function.

Project Strategy

Promote new learning methodologies for social and working inclusion.

Sharing a pedagogical model attentive to the relationships between students and teachers, between students and students, and to the involvement of parents and also other stakeholders: the local community, the business sector, public bodies, political leaders (THE EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY).

Promote motivation and change, improve your personal development, learn at school and adapt to a new society.

The project also:

IT RESTORES TRUST AND REMOTIVATES students

IT PROVIDES SCHOOLS WITH A PEDAGOGICAL MODEL and educational tools to help students connect with the European reality, multiculturalism, integration, the world of work, businesses in the sector, cooperation networks, ICT.

It is necessary to create a participatory and cooperative project between teachers, students, associations and local authorities to address the situation of dispersion and abandonment, strengthening transversal skills and a more effective methodology.

The project proposes an educational model that provides a global perspective (inclusion, gender equality, the involvement of parents, the local community, the business sector, NGOs, policy makers) in the different phases of education.

This project will give rise to the following innovative elements:

Improve the quality of secondary education by improving the professional capacity of teachers/trainers.

Common approach for teaching key competences in different Member States by forming a transnational cooperation association with a balanced geographical representation of ERASMUS+.
